De:Code

Personal Style Analysis · Image-Based Consultation

De:Code is the foundation of the EclectiCollab experience.
It is a structured personal style analysis designed to help you understand how and why clothes work on you, beyond trends, sizes, or fluctuating weight.

This service is conducted entirely through image submission, allowing for thoughtful, objective analysis and accessible participation regardless of location.

What De:Code Includes

Colour Season & Analogous Palette

Your analysis begins with identifying your core colour season, the hues that harmonise most naturally with your skin, hair, and overall contrast.

In addition to your primary palette, De:Code also introduces analogous and adjacent shades, allowing for:

  • Greater flexibility in dressing

  • Creative play beyond strict seasonal boundaries

  • Easier wardrobe building across brands, fabrics, and prints

This approach reflects real wardrobes and real lives, supporting longevity rather than restriction.

Colour guidance covers:

  • Clothing colours and tonal balance

  • Pattern and print compatibility

  •   Metals, accessories, and makeup direction.

Body Type & Body Lines

Rather than focusing on measurements or size, De:Code looks at natural structure, proportions, and movement.

This analysis draws from established body-type and line systems, focusing on:

  • Vertical vs. compact lines

  • Curve, angularity, and balance

  • How fabric, cut, and scale interact with your body

The aim is to support wardrobe longevity and adaptability, particularly through weight fluctuations.

Essence Blend

Your essence reflects the impression you naturally project — often before you speak.

This section identifies:

  • Your dominant and secondary essences

  • How these appear in facial features, posture, and presence

  • Why certain styles feel intuitive while others feel forced

Essence guidance informs:

  • Styling direction

  • Detail scale and finishing touches

  • Hair, makeup, and overall visual coherence.

Style Narrative & Wardrobe Direction

All elements are brought together into a clear, practical style narrative.

This includes:

  • How your colour season, body lines, and essence intersect

  • What to prioritise when shopping

  • What to avoid, and why

  • How to build a wardrobe that evolves rather than resets

This narrative becomes your reference point across future edits, swaps, and services.

Methodology & Systems Referenced

De:Code integrates multiple established style frameworks, interpreted through a sustainability-focused, real-world lens:

  • Colour analysis rooted in seasonal colour theory

  • Body structure and line principles inspired by David Kibbe

  • Body-line clarity and style roots informed by Ellie‑Jean Royden

  • Essence theory drawing from John Kitchener

These systems are used as tools, not rules, adapted to support individuality, wardrobe longevity, and conscious consumption.
